Solving Waste Problems Today For A Cleaner Tomorrow

SWPCA Energy Lab

Along with the construction of the gasification unit, we had to create a full-scale tesing lab. Two major pieces of equipment were needed to be purchased, both of which test the final product to examine the different components that make it. The machines purchased are the Shimadzu QP-2010 GC/MS with additional FID-2010 and the Shimadzu Model 2014 GC w/TCD. Along with those two large pieces of equipment we also bought, borrowed, and bartered supplies and equipment to establish a gas analysis lab at the WWTP. An experienced chromatographer-chemist was also brought in to serve as the project analyst.
